Tokaido Matsuri 5th Edition Expansion Game

Tokaido Matsuri is an expansion that introduces traditional Japanese festivities and sixteen new travelers to the already wonderful Tokaido journey. These matsuri, or festivals, are triggered by the arrival of travelers at the intermediate inns, adding new and unique events along the path.

This expansion brings new cards and tokens to the game, allowing players to immerse themselves in Japanese feasts and festivals. The cards modify gameplay on each section of the road, adding depth and strategy similar to the Crossroads expansion.

It's important to note that Tokaido Matsuri is only an expansion and requires the Tokaido Deluxe Edition base game to play.

Players can continue their Tokaido adventures with Matsuri, experiencing unique festivals along the East Sea road. The game is designed for 2 to 5 players, aged 8 and older, with an average playtime of about 45 minutes.
